We have a blog that is dedicated to our progress within the adoption where you may find answers to some commonly asked questions and even some links pertaining to the adoption.

First off, before I get into what I really enjoyed about the album I would encourage you to read why Jonathan's band goes by "theAftermath" by reading the entry following this link.

Being that I've been on the road quite a bit the last several weeks I always enjoy listening to new records on the flight, in the hotel room, and just before a photo shoot... this is a great all-around album for each scenario. Aftermath's vocals are incredibly strong and each song is very well produced. Each time I re-listen to the record I find new hooks and details buried within each song and that's what keeps me coming back for a re-listen. I think one of the best examples of that very thing is on track 5, entitled "Waters Rise". It reminds me of a Jason Mraz meets Lifehouse meets Nickelcreek (noting the slide guitar). I find myself empathizing with Aftermath's lyrics as each song has a certain heaviness to it, but not enough that you're depressed after listening... just enough to make you intentionally think through the lyrics rather than sit idly by.

So while this review may not be worthy of a Rolling Stones or Relevant article, I enjoyed the experience very much and as a result find myself singing many of the songs throughout the workday. Give the album a listen... I think you will enjoy what you hear!
